The rehearsal for Journey into the Medieval Convent took place Monday June 17th and it was a pleasure to be there and hear for the first time the distinctive and haunting chants of Hildegard resonate throughout the space. The octagon architecture of St. Mary Magdalene is known by singers in Toronto for being an exquisite space for singing. It provides a rich and harmonious sound that will transport listeners back through time to when this music was created.
